This post provides a simple tip on making Google chrome as the default browser. You might have several web browsers installed on your desktop and laptop but not every browser is your favorite. Steps to Make Google Chrome as Default web browser :
- Start Google Chrome.
- In the “omnibox” i.e. address box where you enter website urls/name, enter the following chrome://settings/browser
- Alternate way to step 2 is – Click on Settings icon in the top right side below the close button in Google chrome – then Options.
- Under Basics – Scroll down – Click on the Button named “Make Google Chrome my default browser”
- It is done! So simple, isn’t it.
